Abdul as he was fondly called left Minna for Maiduguri Thursday 3rd, 2013.
He got to Borno Express Motor Park, well after 9 pm and slept there with other passengers because of imposed curfew in Maiduguri .
He left the park in a taxi for his off-campus hostel (303) in the morning of Friday January 4, 2013 at about 6am.
As the taxi approached a military checkpoint at Gwange quarters, the JTF soldiers shot at them, 2 bullets hit Abdul in the head.
He was in coma for 37 days, fighting to stay alive but….Abdul passed yesterday Feb 10!
Join us as we celebrate the life, times and death of Abdulmumini Abubakar Muye at 8pm, in about few minutes from now on Twitter.
– Were those stray bullets (as claimed by the JTF) when no shootout was ongoing?
– A witness was threatened with death if she dared say a word about what transpired, why? – Government didn’t foot the bill or show concern, why?
– Only 1 official of UniMaid paid a visit to Abdul in the hospital and that on his own account, why?
