Dolphins head coach, Stanley Eguma says they will not make a mistake and underrate NAF Rockets in the Federation Cup Round of 62 game on Wednesday in Benin.

Eguma says in football no team should be looked down on and following their experience of last season they will be careful.

“Last year we were knocked out at this stage by Plateau United and it was very embarrassing for us as it was our worst performance in the Federation Cup,” Eguma said.

“Going into that game against NAF Rockets we will urge the boys to keep their focus and composure because that is one way we can guard against these lower division clubs who always do a lot of running.”

Captain of the team, Sunday Rotimi also added that he has not forgotten the 1-0 loss to Plateau United last season and the players will ensure it does not happen again.

“How can we forget that loss? We slipped and fell against Plateau United last season and will do our best to get a win this time around in this round so we can move onto the next stage of the Federation Cup.”

Dolphins ended the first round of the Nigeria Professional Football League with a 2-0 win over Bayelsa United.

With the League resuming on the 3rd of July the clubs will keep themselves busy with Federation Cup games.
