Flash! Anambra Governorship Election: INEC Dedicates Telephone Line To Feedback

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has dedicated a telephone line to intending voters in the November 16, 2013, governorship election in Anambra State who may want information on their polling unit and whether or not they are in the Register of Voters, before or on Election Day.
Such intending voters are to type the name of the state, their surname, and the last five or six digits of their Voter Identification Number (VIN) displayed on the voter’s card and send as SMS to 0817 164 6879.
The format again is: (e.g., Anambra Idowu 12345) to 0817 164 6879.
The Commission hopes this service will ease the voting experience in the impending election.

Chief Press Secretary to Hon. Chairman
